Programs & Organizations Supported By The Lawrence E. Pope Foundation
The Lawrence E. Pope Foundation regularly supports organizations and programs of all types working for the betterment of the residents of Kernersville and surrounding areas.
Foundation grants have been awarded to these organizations:
- Crisis Control of Kernersville – to provide operating support for the organization

Downtown Kernersville, to help fund a digital announcement kiosk

East Forsyth High School Athletics, to support construction of a press box and grandstand at the school’s baseball field

Forsyth Technical Community College,
to update and expand the college’s Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology program

Foundation of Forsyth Tech, for assistance to deserving students

Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, to promote economic activities in Kernersville

Kernersville Christmas Stocking, to help distribute Christmas presents to needy children
